DOBBS FERRY, NY — To mark Caribbean-American Heritage Month, the Westchester County Board of Legislators honored three Westchester residents on June 17, including artist Madge Scott of Hastings-on-Hudson. The 63-year-old was born in Jamaica, immigrated to the U.S. in 1988, moved to Hastings in 2004, and mounted her first exhibition in 2005. Her studio overlooks the Hudson River in Dobbs Ferry. June 19 was declared Madge Scott Day in Westchester.
